Cows

We encountered this trio of beautiful, curious cows on our recent trip to France.  They live in a small field near Petit Palais, and were kind enough to pose for a few portraits.  All were shot with a blackbird, fly plastic camera on Fuji Superia film.

Moulins de Calon

I'm slowly scanning film from our recent trip to Bordeaux.  Here are a couple from the first roll.  The Moulins de Calon are located near Montagne, and were originally built in the 16th century.   Two are fully restored.  Shot with a Zero 2000 medium format pinhole camera on Kodak Ektar 100 film.

Polaroid Week 2011, Day Four

Sunflowers are the subject, again.  This time, I used a sheet of my dwindling supply of Polaroid Type 55 film.  Twenty second exposure, shot with a Leonardo 4x5 pinhole camera.

Polaroid Week 2011. Day Three

Today, I shot my last sheet of Polaroid Type 59... ever.  The sheet was stored with my few remaining sheets of Type 55, and the Type 59 box is long gone, so I'm not sure when it expired.  It probably expired at least three years ago.

Shot with a Leonardo 4 x 5 Pinhole camera on expired Polaroid Type 59 film.  25 second exposure.

Polaroid Week 2011, Day One

Today is the first day of Polaroid Week 2011.  I might shoot some of my remaining sheets of Type 55 this week, but today I shot Fuji FP100C using a Pinhole 100 camera.  Here are my first Polaroid Week shots.

Structures in a Field

Vacation has sadly ended.  I managed to shoot about 15 rolls of film (35 mm and 120) in the course of two short weeks.  The color film went off to the lab earlier this week, and I'm hoping to process some of the black and white this week-end, so I have a huge scanning job to look forward to.  Hooray.

A return from vacation also means a return to regular blogging, starting with these, shot in the fields outside of Mollina in the late spring.  All were shot on a Zero 2000 medium format pinhole camera on Ilford Delta 100 film, and processed at home.

Thanks for visiting.
