I still haven't processed my 120 film from Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day, but I did shoot one instant pinhole one the day.  An artichoke field right after a rainstorm, with a rainbow barely visible in the sky in the background.  Shot on expired Polaroid Type 55 4x5 instant film (expired in 2006, I think), using a Leonardo 4x5 pinhole camera and approximately 4 minutes exposure time.  The results seem a tad solarized, but I'm not sure if it's due to expired film or something else.  I'm down to my last 9 sheets of this film, so I'm hoping for a comparable replacement soon.

Sunflowers are the subject, again.  This time, I used a sheet of my dwindling supply of Polaroid Type 55 film.  Twenty second exposure, shot with a Leonardo 4x5 pinhole camera.

Pinhole Day is in Less Than a Month

Worldwide Pinhole Photo Day is fast approaching.  This year, it falls on April 24th.  Here is one of my shots from Pinhole Day 2010.  This isn't the one that I wound up submitting to the WWPD website (that can be seen here), but another shot on the same day.  I still have a few precious sheets of Type 55 stashed away... maybe I'll think about using a few on the 24th of April.

Post a Photo Every Day?

I have decided to (try to) post a photo here every day.  Some will come with commentary, some not.

About today's post - This was shot on Worldwide Pinhole Day 2010.  WWPD occurs every year on the last Sunday in April.  This was shot on a 4 by 5 pinhole camera, using a sheet of my dwindling supply of Polaroid Type 55 film.  Shot in a forest somewhere near Bermeo, it was a rare, rainless day in Northern Spain.
