Pinhole Day is in Less Than a Month
Worldwide Pinhole Photo Day is fast approaching. This year, it falls on April 24th. Here is one of my shots from Pinhole Day 2010. This isn't the one that I wound up submitting to the WWPD website (that can be seen here), but another shot on the same day. I still have a few precious sheets of Type 55 stashed away... maybe I'll think about using a few on the 24th of April.

Bilbao
My pile of unscanned negatives is growing. Also, my black and white chemistry arrived last week (which means new 4 x 5 shots are coming soonish). Unfortunately, my taxes will not do themselves and my crappy day-job will also not do itself. Grumble. Anyhow, here's a bbf shot from the archives. Shot in Bilbao (on a typically overcast day) in the old industrial zone near the river, on 35 mm film using a blackbird, fly plastic camera. Now, back to work.

Mystery Burro in el Restaurante La Laguna
A few weeks ago, my husband came home from walking that dog and informed me that he had found a ghost and I had to come and see it (and bring a camera, or course!). We returned later that day and found not one but two ghosts...of donkeys! I shot a couple of pinholes that day, but not as much as I would have liked. Both were shot on film using a Zero 2000 pinhole camera. Here they are:
We returned a few days ago, this time with the DSLR. The burro in the garage is gone, but I got a few shots of the burro in the restaurant. More shots of the interior of the abandoned restaurant will follow eventually.

Romania 2006
These photos are all from my trip to Romania in 2006. The scans have been lurking on my hard-drive for ages, and I haven't really thought about these photos since I scanned them. One day I'll go through all of the photos from that trip, clear the dust and (maybe) rescan my favorites. Until then, here's a sampling. All were shot on 35 mm film using a Nikon F3.
