More Caffenol C Experiments

Abandoned Village, 2014

Ruin, 2014
Huge pile of film sitting around in need of processing.... time for more Caffenol C experiments.  The negatives were far too dark this time, but I was able to scan some of them.

These were shot with a Harman Titan 4 x 5 pinhole camera on Kodak TMax 100 film.  Processed in Caffenol C, 12 minutes.

The Blue Lagoon, Iceland

The Blue Lagoon, Iceland 2014

The Blue Lagoon 2, Iceland 2014

I've recently returned from a short trip to Iceland.  My trusty old Zero 2000 got smashed to pieces in the Icelandic wind (more about that in a future post), but I did manage to shoot a few photos before Iceland killed my camera.  First stop - The Blue Lagoon.  These were the only two photos I was able to shoot there before my camera fell for the first time.  Both were shot using a Zero 2000 medium format pinhole camera and Ilford Delta 100 film.

The 5 Pointz Aerosol Arts Center, the graffiti mecca in Long Island City, Queens, was recently painted white and is scheduled to be demolished soon.  Sad news.  I'm glad I had a chance to take a few pinhole photos there last August.

All photos were shot using a Zero 2000 medium format pinhole camera on Kodak Ektar 100 film.

NYC Pinhole Portrait 1

NYC Pinhole Portraits 1- Occupy Wall Street, 2013

Often, when I'm out on the street with my taking photos with my pinhole camera, people stop to ask what I'm doing, or to ask questions about my camera.  Whenever that happens, I try to ask the curious person if they'll pose for a pinhole portrait.  Thus, I present part one in an ongoing series of pinhole portraits.

This man was working the Occupy Wall Street booth in Union Square.  He asked about the camera, posed for a photo and sold me a t-shirt.

Photo shot using a Zero 2000 medium format pinhole camera on Kodak Ektar 100 film.  Please feel free to leave comments or questions in the space provided.  Thanks for visiting.

Photo Show Announcement

I'm having a small photo show in December.  It will be at the Bar Chelo in Alberite starting this Wednesday.  If you're in the area, please stop by and have a look.
